Paper poster presentations have been scheduled in multiple shifts through the Congress main dates (Sunday-Wednesday). It is important that poster presenters adhere to the poster shift schedule below. The Organizing Committee will not be responsible for posters that are not removed by the end of the poster slot. Presenters should refer to the abstract notification scheduling letter for their poster display date and time.
Paper Poster Shift Schedule
Sunday, September 17 – Wednesday, September 20:
First shift (8:00-13:15)
- Mounting of posters starts at 7:00
- Dismounting of posters between 13:15-13:30
Presenters scheduled to display their poster in the first shift should ensure to stand by their poster board during the morning coffee break, and during the first 30 minutes of the lunch break to answer any questions during the poster viewing slot. Please note that times may vary slightly according to the day.
Second shift (14:00-18:30)
- Mounting of posters starts at 14:00
- Dismounting of posters by 18:30
Presenters scheduled to display their poster in the second shift should ensure to stand by their poster board during the final 45 minutes of the lunch break, and during the afternoon coffee break to answer any questions during the poster viewing slot. Please note that times may vary slightly according to the day.
These paper poster display shifts give presenters the unique chance to discuss their work with other scientists. The Organizing Committee will not be responsible for posters that are not removed by the end of the poster slot. Please check the mobile app, or the list of poster presentations which will be located at the Poster Help Desk, to find your designated poster board number.

Preparation of Paper Posters
- Please prepare your paper poster on one sheet of paper. Alternatively presenters may display their material on several smaller sheets.
- Paper posters will be displayed in portrait format.
- The dimensions of the poster should not exceed 90 cm wide x 120 cm high.
- Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors as stated on the submitted abstract.
- The text, illustrations, etc. should be bold enough to be read from a distance of two meters (six feet).
- Tacks and technical equipment will be available for the mounting of posters.
- Please check the mobile app, or the list of poster presentations which will be located at the Poster Help Desk, to find your designated poster board number.

E-Posters

2017 is pleased to announce that select presentations at the Congress will also
be available for viewing as E-Posters, available via the Congress Mobile App
during and after the Congress. E-Posters are made available to delegates
through numerous large electronic screens sited in the Congress center
throughout the Congress. The E-Poster platform allows users to browse by
topics, search for specific content and submit questions to the authors. You
may view the E-Posters on the stands in the E-Poster Area, where any E-Poster can
be viewed on any screen at any time or on your personal device.
